Mi ha fatto pagare una multa di 20 € presa il 7/9 mentre io sono arrivato 8/9 in più mi ha fatto pagare 10€ per il lavaggio mentre la macchina quando l’ho presa era sporca

Ciao amico, mi dispiace molto che parli questa lingua, ci siamo presentati bene insieme, come quando hai preso la macchina e quando l'hai riconsegnata, ti ho chiesto scusa fin dall'inizio per la multa, perché due giorni dopo è arrivata la multa è stato pubblicato sul nostro portale e non l'ho pagato, prendi nota della data.
E ho restituito gli euro con western union, ma per l'autolavaggio non accetto questo perché l'auto è sporca, perché prima di portarla al cliente la portiamo all'autolavaggio, l'azienda non ha bisogno dei tuoi 10 euro e abbassare l'immagine.
Comunque mi dispiace per la preoccupazione. Per me continui ad essere un buon cliente indipendentemente dall'immagine che hai della nostra azienda. Grazie.

The car worked well for two weeks, though the tyre pressure warning light was on from the get go, but actually seemed OK. It was delivered promptly. It didn't look like the one in the photo as the bonnet had been replaced by a tatty one and the car was covered with scratches and dents. This didn't matter to us at all as it drove well, but it seemed cheeky to be told how fussy they would be if we marked it in any way. I videoed it's state carefully. He was very keen to sell their insurance but I had taken a policy out in England. The only real problem was that he was about an hour late to collect the car from us at the bus station. In fact he had forgotten. This meant we missed our bus. I wasn't happy, but he seemed to find it quite funny.
Everything went smoothly with the car rental. Initially, I had some reservations, but the car turned out to be well-suited for the challenging Albanian roads. The renter, Arbenm, was very efficient and handled a situation where we unfortunately damaged the car with fairness and courtesy. I will certainly rent from Arbenm again.
For future clients, I highly recommend opting for the full insurance coverage. It’s important to understand that while you might think your credit card offers insurance coverage because you booked through Rent from Locals, that’s not the case. Rent from Locals is a platform that connects clients with rental agencies, but it’s not a rental agency itself. Therefore, if you pay the agency in cash, your credit card insurance won’t cover any damages unless caused by another driver. Renting from Arbenm with full insurance is a competitive option and ensures peace of mind during your stay.
Very negative experience. From the photos, the car looks nothing like what it really is. Even an old car thought it would look much better. Completely damaged paintwork, driver's seat unstuck, third gear is hard to get into, the rear doors don't always open, rear window wipers don't work, it took me 3 times to start and I thought I would have to call roadside assistance. In the end, the owner indicated that I would have to pay a traffic ticket, which I don't even know if it would actually be true. Very bad. I don't advise it.

Voiture ok, mais incite les gens à payer l’assurance tout risque (sinon menace de demander de payer 700 ou 800 euros si moindre impact sur la voiture). De plus à la restitution du véhicule, il demande de payer 10 euros de lavage même si la voiture est propre. Attention

Everything ok
Car worked well and served its purpose during our trip. However, dealing with the staff was unpleasant. They tricked us into paying 10% more as we wanted to pay in Leks. Their reasoning was due to exchange rates, but this was not true. We were changing Euros to Leks throughout our trip and Leks to Euros at the end of our trip, and their “excuse” just didn’t add up. We fell for it though as we were simply unaware. Beware of this.

Tout d'abord Rent From Locals est à utiliser sans arrière pensée. Cela ma permis de faire de réelles économies sans passer par les loueurs officiels de l'aéroport. Les 100 € de Garantie (non présentation) sont remboursés au début du séjour. Arbenm : Globalement satisfait. Voiture conforme à la commande. Néanmoins notre véhicule avait beaucoup de km (189 000 km), à notre arrivée nous avons été accueilli par une personne très gentil mais qui ne parlait pas anglais. Elle voulait me faire signer un état des lieux vierge (sans les différents choc sur carrosserie, sans le km, sans le niveau d'essence, sans les détérioration intérieure - poignée du levier de vitesse réparée à la colle, manette du siège manquante, plage arrière manquante... - et partir rapidement (à sa décharge notre vol avait du retard et il était pressé). Il m'a fait payer le parking de l'aéroport (pas un problème en soit 2 €). La voiture était au mini de la réserve (il a fallu faire moi même le plein à la sortie de l'aéroport, avec arnaque sur le taux de change du pompiste Alpet Airport, et retard supplémentaire pour nous alors qu'il était déjà 21 h). En revanche pas de mauvaise surprise pendant l'utilisation. Sauf un voyant moteur qui s'allume en orange et la personne d'Arbenm au téléphone (très sympathique au passage et qui parle anglais) répond : "problème de qualité de carburant, it's Albania my friend" :-). Au retour : J'ai attendu 20 minutes l'arrivée de la personne qui devait récupérer la voiture (identique à notre arrivée). Contrôle extérieur et Intérieur inexistant (comme à notre arrivée) en revanche comme j'avais exigé de rendre la voiture avec un plein d'essence et de déduire ce plein de la facture, le réceptionnaire m'a fait aller à la station de service (la même que j'avais utilisé à mon arrivée) pour vérifier que le plein était fait (il ne voulait pas se fier à sa jauge de carburant). Le pompiste a réussi, en forçant, à mettre que 3 € d'essence ...car j'avais bien fait le plein ! Perte de temps supplémentaire (bouchon pour aller et revenir de la station) et vexation de l'absence de confiance.. Après avoir récupéré ma caution 150 € je sors de la voiture et le réceptionnaire réclame par la fenêtre 10 € pour le lavage de la voiture... J'ai répondu "It's Albania my Friend" et suis parti car déjà en retard. J'ai lu à l'arrivée en France le contrat en anglais remis le soir sur le parking à la réception de la voiture, et il mentionnait bien un forfait de 10 € pour le lavage de la voiture. Je conseil à Rent From Local de l'indiquer dès le début dans la réservation pour éviter cela. En conclusion, je n'ai pas l'habitude de loueur hors réseau. Cela est financièrement intéressant, mais pas aussi carré et organisé. Néanmoins pour le rapport qualité-prix : je recommande Rent From Locals et Arbenm, et malgré le problème de communication, les personnes étaient aimables et sympathiques.
Communication was perfect, car had a service alarm but this was no issue (this feedback we got immediately when we raised the question) only a pitty that fuel tank was empty by starting so we were obliged to go to fuel station near by meaning we had to go via airport in huge traffic jam. Would me much easier to receive with full tank and bring back with full tank. But in gemeral it was good car and good comminication

We were not satisfied. A person who did not speak English came to the airport to hand over the car, so the training was done over the phone.
Worse, however, was that the person on the phone pressured me quite indiscriminately to buy full insurance for 15 euros a day, otherwise I would pay a 500 euro fine even for a scratch.
Even though we were renting a 10 year old car, with bodywork visibly damaged by hail.
But the worst part was that after we took it out, the engine was faulty and the car was underpowered. After enquiries via Whatsapp, I got a reply that the car had been checked out, and it was just bad fuel. It's just that the car drove really badly even after refuelling - on tight hills it would only go maybe 25km/h, and once we even had to push the car up a hill.
When I announced it when I returned it, the person taking over the car said that if we run the air conditioning, it is clear that the power is weaker.

The baby seats' belts were disassembled and not installed in the car. The car's condition was bad, pieces missing, broken seatbelt and really worn-out.
