Un pco en la línea de lo que dicen otros comentarios. Reservamos un fiesta, pero nos dieron otros Ford que no era fiesta. Same same, but different. Más de 230.000km, ruedas delanteras cuarteadas y no aptas para la conducción. Coche muy viejo y muy sucio en general, que da poca confianza, pero que por suerte nos llevó de un lado a otro casi sin problema. No sé si repetiría...

Disgusting behavior. Here is our story point by point:
1) We ordered VW Caddy (2015) from August 7 to 15. When I asked if we can have it until 17, he said no problem. I asked him specifically if it will be really Caddy, he said yes. It was not possible to change the date in the system, but I believed him...
2) We arrived at the airport and there was no Caddy, but very old Mazda 5. He said he didn't have the Caddy, because I wanted it for longer time. I said "but I made sure it was Caddy and you said yes" and the only suggestion he made was "ok so do not take the car". Well we took it anyway – this shit car for the SAME price as Caddy – 45eur/day, because we were exhausted from the travelling and couldnt suddenly be without a car. Very soon we knew we shouldn't have taken it.
3) The car itself was in a horrible condition, when I was driving the streets of Albany, I could see why. Car from 2008 just can't survive in these conditions. The transmission was so overused, (no wonder, it had 300k+ kilometers), in the hot weather it was not possible to use the AC, because the car was overheating and had no power occasionally, we sometimes had to even get out of the car and let it cool down AND the car stopped braking at some point.
4) At this point we got too scared and I asked him to come to Durres (30 mins from Tirana) to pick the car up and give us refund or provide another functioning car. He was taking time to "find another car" and saying he just doesn't have time, that he is busy. No help – we in the end bought new brake fluid and it got a bit better, so when I imagined we will give this car back and have to get ANOTHER car for the rest of the 4 days, I rather said we will keep it in the end and adjusted our trip in a way that the car could handle it (no long distances, no hills etc. – imagine howmany places we couldn’t see as we planned just because we had shitty car)
5) You would expect this is already the worst that happened but I can tell you it just started. On the last day, I asked him if we can get some money back for all the trouble, danger and general horrible experience. He said I should suggest the amount, so I asked for 100eur back. He started playing victim like he is at loss like that and yet receives a bad comment so I said he can give us 200eur back and there will be no negative comment. He said he was only testing me and that i am stupid.
5) Of course he was too scared to come pick the car up himself (!) but sent some guy to pick it up. We cleaned the car and actually got it in better condition (fixed the brakes and spent money on buying the fluid) and he, because of the comment I made about the refund, demanded to keep 50eur for CLEANING from the 200eur deposit. His guy even confirmed it is not about the cleaning but the fact I asked about refund! Please, keep in mind the cleaning is not 50 eur anywhere, not even Albany... 1000 LEK maximum (but how would I know if I am so stupid and – as he said – can’t drive). When I had him on the phone and told him if he is being serious to charge us 50eur from our deposit for this shit car, he said this "offer" is gone and we get NO money back suddenly. The man just couldn't handle a woman saying his car is shit over the phone.
6) His friend that came to pick up the car then said we are just not getting any money and if we are unhappy, we should call the police. When we acted like we did, he gave me the 200eur suddenly. At this point we just left the keys on the car and left him waiting there for the „fake“ police. We were scared he would actually come hurt us, because we really weren't sure what is this corrupted man actually capable of when he was treating us like this the whole time...
7) Please be careful – I think he doesn't even have the cars he has on his profile because the pictures are fake (he downloads them from the internet, some of the cars are from Auto Esa which is a czech car seller haha) but I didn't notice this before, so I am saying this here so no one else gets his trip THIS MUCH ruined.
Horrible experience, but this poor little man makes an insulting comment on my profile only, so nothing else happened to us.
Well, I never experienced anything like this, people be careful and do not rent his cars.
Did some extra charge, the car was old but it took us from a to b, all over it was ok-
Tricky vehicle owner, you book a normal mid-range car for €26/day and you get an old piece of crap that you have to pray to drive. They had an even higher additional insurance for the given vehicle from the reservation, to pay an extra €150 for such a rumble, so fuck it. The additional insurance was worth more than the car itself. In the end he said €20 for cleaning even though the car was in the same condition as at the beginning.
If I book something in advance, I want what I book. And this corrupted mentality of vilsonp can only ruin your vacation.
I do not recommend the owner of vehicle vilsonp.

Last week, my gf and me (Spanish couple), flew to Albania, on 7th of August. We did have a reservation with Vilsonp at 15:00. The day before I contacted him in WhatsApp and told him that our flight arrived at 14:30, just to let him know. On the day of flight, due to some delay I pinged him on the plane and told him that maybe we are going with 15 min delay, so 14:45 arriving the flight. So, we arrived at 14:45 and at 15:00 we were in the meeting point but no one was there. I called him and he stated that his employer left because I told him that we were arriving at 14:30 and after 30 min waiting he left. So, at the end I had to find another car at the airport what you can imagine was not cheap and neither easy to do without reservation in August.
- the reservation time was 15:00 and I never changed it, I just said the time the flight arrived but obviously after you need to go out from the airport. Also, Vilsonp asked my the flight number so he could have checked the screen, otherwise why he asked?.
- he supposedly left but never no one called or texted me, trying to reach me out.
- in the website it mentions 60 min is the waiting time, not 30 min.
In conclusion, guys do whatever you want but my experience with him was not good, just sharing with you with details so everyone can analyze with what kind of person you are hiring a service, and arriving there and not having a car, I can say is not a comfy situation. Up to you people and maybe now he replies bla bla bla, I am not going to waste my time with this person anymore, btw I do have screenshot of everything but unfortunately I cannot upload, good luck.
Pick-up and return went smoothly. Got the deposit back, no hidden fees.
Big minus was the car, I got much older model, dirty, and different colour than advertised. It wasn't worth the price I paid.
I checked positive only because the car survived and didn't let us down.
We rented the car a day earlier, which was no problem with Vilson.
Lack of professionalism and an attempt at perfidious fraud. After arriving at the airport, the person renting us a car informs us that the one we booked has broken down and can suggest another one that is 15 euros more expensive than the one we booked. We didn't use it. Moreover, the 10 euros charged when booking were not refunded. I do not recommend!
The car was reliable and served us well. The A/C was working really good and a part from some warning signs that were present before we took the car, all has worked properly.

We received a completely different car than we ordered. We wanted Ford Fiesta and had received some low awful blue Audi. And you don't want to deal with that at 2 AM at the airport. After start we realized that airbag and brake plates indicator lights are on. The roads are wild in Albania and our bumper came loose. We didn't argue because we didn't take our own photos. There was a small clause in the contract that the insurance does not cover own mistakes.
The car drove and that is about the last positive thing we can say about it. Not only was the car very old (which we did know in advance) but most importantly not fit at all to drive on the Albanian roads. If you plan on going up any hill (knowing that Albania is almost exclusively hills and mountains) you should NOT rent this car. Driving up a hill is very hard because the car has almost no power. And when the engine stops and you are on a hill don’t expert to be able to start it without going down until you reach a more flat surface to start the car again. In the car description it says that the car has radio, navigation and wifi. In reality this is not the case at all. You will hear a crackling noice through the radio 95% of the time and the volume button has a mind of it’s own, going super loud or super quit without you touching it. One of the rear lights was broken, he didn’t tell us this in advance. It could have gotten us in trouble with police etc.
And then the owner….
When we met up with him on the first day he gave us the contract but when we started reading it he gave us no time and under the guise of ‘I will tell you everything that is in it’. (We realise that we should have pressed on reading the contract in full, that is our mistake. We just want you to be prepared when hiring this car). There are things in the contract that are not mentioned on the online listing for example: only being alowed to drive up to 100 km per day (and having to pay him more if you want to drive unlimited).
On the last day when we returned the car we had some trouble with the cleaning at the carwash (they used a product damaging the paint on the car). We imidiately notified the owner of this and asked him to meet us there (as the people at the carwash did not speak English). After looking over the car, having a conversation with the staff and us he told us there was no problem for him, we should pay the carwash people but we didn’t have to pay for the damage on the car as it was not our fault. We got back our deposit (minus the missing fuel) and he dropped us off at our hostel. We thought this was the end of the agreement. However not even an hour after the hand-off he started bombarding us with text messages about damages (not only of the paint) that he claimed we caused. (Reminding you: he did not mention anything when he dropped us off and gave back the deposit). He started asking for a lot of money (over 500 euro) and threatened to sue us. He only stopped sending us messages after we ignored his harrassement (knowing we were in our right).
All of this to conclude that we do NOT reccommend renting this car or any car from him.
La communication avec le loueur était parfait par Whatapps. On a récupéré la voiture dans un parking juste à la sortie de l'aéroport. Je devais avoir une 5 portes, mais à la place j'ai eu une 3 portes, mauvaise nouvelle. Ce qui n’avait pas été décrit dans l’annonce c'est que le kilométrage était limité à 100 km par jour et que pour 30€ de plus j’avais l'illimité, ce que j'ai dû accepter car nous allions dans le sud. Nous sommes restés 8 jours avec la voiture. A Vlore j'ai eu un pneu crevé et j'ai eu la surprise de voir qu'il n’y avait pas de roue de secours, j'ai eu beaucoup de mal à m’en sortir mais j'ai réussi finalement tant bien que mal avec une amende de stationnement en cadeau. Lors de notre séjour à Sarande au 4ème jour, la voiture s’est mis a chauffé, le voyant s'était allumé et à ce moment là j'ai vraiment paniqué car on était à 4h de route de Tirana, je me suis encore débrouillé avec l’aide d’un monsieur d’une station service. Le lendemain, à nouveau la voiture a chauffé en à peine une heure de trajet malgré que l’eau était bien à niveau et nous étions sur une côte où j'ai dû patienter pour repartir le temps qu’elle refroidisse. La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas très bien, et comme la voiture chauffait j'ai dû l'éteindre complètement et roulait les vitres ouvertes, la route du retour a été très longue et difficile avec la chaleur pendant 4h et la possibilité que la voiture tombe en panne. La voiture n’est pas puissante, dans les côtes en montée je ne pouvais pas dépassé les 40 km/h par manque de puissance et de plus risquer de chauffer. Nous voulions visiter Girokaster, Blue eye, Dhermi mais avec ces problèmes nous n’avions pas pu. La voiture nous a gâché un peu les vacances, c’est dommage.
Lors de la restitution de la voiture, le loueur m’a demandé de la rendre nettoyer et propre mais après tous les problèmes que j'ai rencontré il acceptait de la récupérer dans l'état ce que j'ai apprécié. La caution m’a été rendue sans soucis.
Dans l’ensemble je dirais donc que le loueur est compréhensible et correcte mais les voitures (du moins la mienne) ne sont pas très fiables, donc attention à bien vérifier.
I did not get the opportunity to rent the car. The owner informed of a 100 KM per day limit after accepting my offer. It was not mentioned on the car page. He told me I had to pay an additional 30€ for unlimited kilometers or 0,30€ per kilometer after 100 KM per day.

Nous avons réservé pour une ford fiesta 5 portes et nous arrivons c’est une 3 portes et avec les sièges avant cassé impossible d’accéder à l’arrière. La voiture n’est donc pas celle de l’annonce et nous n’avions pas été prévenu.
De plus, on nous facture un deuxième conducteur alors qu’il y avait une seule personne qui avait le permis. Le loueur fait une erreur sur le contrat car il ne me demande meme pas qui conduit et réalise un contrat sans mon accord. Fatiguée du voyage nous payons mais ca reste tres malhonnête.
Et pour finir, presque 1h30 de retard pour récupérer la voiture. On a convenu 11h pour le dépôt, nous avons réalisé l’essence avant mais avec les bouchons pour arriver à l’aéroport il nous manquait une barre nous avons donc decidé de laisser la voiture comme ça pour etre a l’heure. Sauf que le loueur arrive bien plus tard, il nous annonce un retard de 10/15 min alors que c’était bien plus. Et nous aurions pu avoir le temps de mettre de l’essence au final mais il ne nous prévient pas. On a failli rater notre vol et pour 6L d’essence on a été facturé 60€. Du vol et de la malhonnêteté ! Sachons que nous avons rendu la voiture encore plus propre qu’au premier jour et qu’on a presque failli rater notre vol pour rendre la voiture.
La voiture était robuste et pratique pour 6 jours mais je ne recommande pas DU TOUT le loueur. C’est dommage car nous comptions revenir en Albanie et si il était honnête on serait repasser par lui mais à fuir.

We almost missed our flight and for 6L of gasoline we were charged €60. Theft and dishonesty! Let us know that we left the car even cleaner than the first day and that we almost missed our flight to return the car. The car was sturdy and practical for 6 days but I don't recommend the rental company AT ALL. It’s a shame because we were planning to return to Albania and if he was honest we would have gone through him again but would have to flee.
